Trawden Forest Community Centre

The Centre is run by a Committee of Trustees made up of volunteers from the local community. It is entirely self-funded, covering running costs through user fees supplemented by fundraising.

Every fortnight, on alternate Thursdays there is an open invitation to attend Trawden Forest Friendship Group. Times and dates can be found on our Calendar.

The Centre is made up of two function rooms – The Main Hall and The Lounge. Both rooms are hatch served from the Kitchen and in addition the Main Hall is served by a licensed bar.

Many regular groups meet at the Centre – you’ll find a calendar of their events in the What’s On section. The Community Centre has been used for many private and community events.  If you would like to learn more about using the Centre for your event check out our Centre Bookings page.

Buy A BRICK Campaign:

Buy a Brick Fundraiser

We want to continuously improve Trawden Community Centre – of course this means we need to raise plenty of funds!

If you have ever been in the kitchen – whilst usable (and with a top hygiene rating!) you’ll have seen we need a new one. While we are rolling out the wish list – we really would love a new emergency exit door in the main hall, the toilet are crying out for refurbishing and we need new flooring everywhere but our lovely hall!

Just £10 buys a brick in our wall display with your name (or message) on it.

You can collect payment forms at several Trawden businesses – including New Trawden Arms and The Old Rock Cafe

Or you can pay online with our new all singing, all dancing Paypal account. Form an orderly queue – no pushing.
